I have been doing this blog for awhile. I decided to install WordPress today. I picked up a copy of a WordPress book at the library and the tagging features interest me. Being able to assign each post to multiple categories. The thing I fear about using something like WordPress is that due to its popularity, it is well known and comment spammers will find it. I also fear something like this will make me lazy. I wanted to learn all this stuff myself, but it should also make me more productive because it will be easier to just use. For now plan B is in effect and that is to use WordPress instead of doing my own thing. I certainly can’t complain so far. The interface is very impressive. The install was… quite simply, unbelievably simple. So simple a TECHdodo could do it. Now to get all my old posts copied over here and get my Ads up. I also read that I should be able to create links to other static pages from here, so until I get everything in order, maybe I will link to my old pages. I am actually going to use both WordPress and the way I was doing it. I am just going to leave both up for the moment. I will post using both methods and still try to work out my own system until Word Press proves to me I shouldn’t bother.
